The Power
of Seven.
Don't miss
your life.

A 4-week live introduction to the Seven Mindful Questions — the practice born from one woman's "I don't want to miss my life" moment, and the simple framework that's quietly changed thousands of mornings since.

"I don't want to miss my life." — Lisa, on a hospital gurney. The sentence that became Seven Questions.

Why now

The questions don't expire. They find you wherever you are.

Seven Mindful Questions came out in 2021. Five years later, the world is unrecognizable — and the questions are unchanged.

If anything, the post-pandemic, AI-saturated, perpetually-distracted version of life makes "What am I doing right now? Why do I care?" more relevant, not less. We are more aware than ever that the days are precious. We are more prone than ever to spend them on autopilot.

This workshop is four Wednesdays. One full breath of the practice. Three steps down into the questions. A pause. Three steps back up. A real introduction to a real tool — taught live, in community, by the woman who wrote it.

It is meant to be the doorway. If, at the end, you want to walk further in, the more intensive course will be there. The doorway alone is enough.

Three Steps Down · A Sacred Pause · Three Steps Back Up
The four weeks

One staircase. One breath. One workshop that changes how you wake up.

The Seven Mindful Questions move like a staircase — descent into awareness, a turning point at the bottom, ascent into chosen action. Each Wednesday, we walk one stretch of those stairs together.

Three Steps Down

"I'm Aware Because I Care."

The descent. The carrot-peeling moment that started it all. We open with the origin story and walk into the first three questions — the thump on the noggin that asks: what am I actually doing, why am I doing it, and do I even care?

Aware · Because · Care

Wed · June 17

The Sacred Pause

"Breathe before you decide."

The bottom of the stairs. The pivot. The most under-practiced muscle in modern life and the one most worth a full week. Walking meditation. The Value/Effort grid. Journaling as pause. What else should I be doing?

Pause and Breathe

Wed · June 24

Three Steps Back Up

"I Choose a Better Alternative."

The ascent. Pattern recognition. The broken record. Willingness to change. The Best Alternative — and how to actually move once you've paused. The energy shifts: decisive, forward, the way out is through.

Choose · Better · Alternative

Living the Questions

"Don't miss your life."

Integration. Augenblick — the moments that change everything in the blink of an eye. We bring the practice off the page and into the morning rush, the dinner decision, the hard conversation. The 7MQ as a daily habit.

Who this is for

If any of these find you, this workshop was built for you.

  • You are managing work, family, and life and the wheels are technically still on but barely.
  • You are flummoxed by competing priorities and tired of pretending you're not.
  • You feel pulled in five directions at once and arrive at the end of every day unsure where it went.
  • You are committed to improving yourself and want a practice you can actually use.
  • You have read about mindfulness, maybe meditated on and off, and want a real, repeatable framework.
  • You want to show up as a better version of yourself — for your work, the people you love, and yourself.
  • You are quietly aware that you might be missing your life, and you would like to stop.

Your guide

The questions found her first.

Lisa was peeling carrots when an inner voice asked her, quite clearly, "How are you?" She had to put the knife down to answer. That was the first question. The other six followed.

Before she became the woman who would write Seven Mindful Questions, Lisa was a board-certified clinical pharmacist, a hospital administrator, and — by her own honest admission — someone living in her head, on four blood pressure medications, headed for a hospital gurney where her heart rate would drop into the twenties.

She survived. She woke up. She started asking better questions. Five years and three books later, she's the teacher she wishes she'd had.
